The Antlers - Hospice

I came across a great new band, The Antlers.  Their new album, Hospice is a concept album. The story teller meets a cancer patient while working in a hospital cancer ward. He falls in love, but the woman becomes abusive and difficult to care for. As the album progresses she dies with our story teller by her side.

This album wields a surprisingly powerful ability to stir the listener's emotions. It is one of the best albums I have listened to in quiet awhile.
